Ervin L. Eash, 61, of 1128 Rochester Avenue, died this morning at Veterans Hospital following a long illness. Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home where friends may call beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Burial will be at Memory Gardens.
Mr. Eash was born March 21, 1911, in Johnson County, the son of George and Katie Bender Each. He married Lois McKray Jan. 30, 1937 in Iowa City. He had been employed from number of years as a salesman for Sears and for Woodburn's Sound Service. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Sam of Wellman and Frank and Amelius, both of Kalona, and a sister, Mrs. Earl (Mary) Fairchild of Atkins, Minn.
One brother and one sister died earlier.
