WALKER, Pearl Anderson, age 86 of Louisville, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Shannondale Healthcare Center. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Louisville and was previous owner of Walker Supply Company in Alcoa. She was a Blount Memorial Auxiliary 'Superstar' volunteering 11,539 hours. She was also a member of the Prudence Eastern Star 270 of Alcoa, local Chapter of AARP and the Joy Club (Senior Citizen Group).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Anderson and Miriam Bowers Hodge; brothers, Thomas Edgar 'Ed' Anderson, Lonnie Lynn 'Moody' Anderson and George G. 'Boot' Anderson.
Survivors include her sister, Maude Anderson Barker of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, B. H. and Oveda Anderson of Maryville; sister-in-law, Emma Grace Anderson of Alcoa; special niece and husband, Judy and Barton Wade of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Wellington Place of Maryville, Shannondale of Maryville and Blount Memorial Hospice for the love and excellent care they provided.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Ogle and Rev. George Gilbert officiating. The interment will follow in Clark's Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
