Kenneth George Herman Appel
Kenneth George Herman Appel, 61, died Sept. 17, 1999, at his home in Garfield.
He was born Oct. 16, 1937, at Albert, the sone of Ben, Sr. and Edna Behrens Appel. A longtime Garfield resident, he worked at M&F Plumbing and was a farmer and stockman.
Appel was a member of Garfield Lutheran Church, serving as church council member, Garfield City council, Edwards County Hospital Board and was a volunteer fireman for Garfield.
On Sept. 15, 1957, he married Martha Price at Enid, Okla. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Martha Jayne
Funeral was Wednesday, Sep. 22nd at Garfield Lutheran Church. Burial was in Garfield Cemetery. Morell Funeral Home, Larned, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the church or Golden Belt Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
