He was the son of Thomas Billy 'Bill Brown (1927-2007) and Norma Jean Michelfelder Brown.

Mike graduated from Howe High School in 1967 and the former Sam's Tech College.

He worked for Curran Architecture as an architectural draftsman and production manager.

While a student at Howe he was a member of the Howe High School golf team where he scored a hole-in-one and also enjoyed his time as student manager of the varsity basksetball team. As a member of the Golf Collector's Society, Mike had many golf friends around the world, he was also a Ben Hogan specialist.

Mike was also a member of The Society of Hickory Golfers, The British Golf Collectors Society, Nature Conservancy, Defenders of Wildlife and the Humane Society of the United States. A huge fan of auto racing, Mike was a faithful Tony Stewart fan.

Mike had a dry humor and loved a good practical joke. He also enjoyed being with friends and family, entertaining and being entertained. He'll be missed by many of all ages and from all walks of life.

Survivors include mother: Norma J Brown; sister: Michele 'Shelly' (Gil) Eggemeyer; step-mom: Betty Brown; 4 step-brothers; 1 step-sister, numerous aunts and uncles and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was preceeded in death by his father.
