Services for Aaron Shell Sr. of Roxie are 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Spring Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 14, from 5-9 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home.
Mr. Shell, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Franklin County Hospital. He was born in Franklin County on Sept. 12, 1919, to the late Thomas B. and Mary Sue Carney Shell.
He was a retired logger and farmer. He attended Roxie Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are his sons, David Shell of Roxie and Kermit Shell of Garden City; daughter, Jimmie Mullins of Vicksburg; brother, Roy Shell of Knoxville; ten grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
