Winifred married Philip O. Bruden at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire on September 9, 1950. She was church secretary at Grace Lutheran Church and then was school secretary at Black and McKinley Schools for many years until her retirement in 1984.
She enjoyed the many hours on the Chippewa River, in the company of friends and family. Picnicking on the boat and watching the kids swim and play in the river waters.
Winifred is survived by a brother, Gerald Voss of Eau Claire; two sisters, ... and Virginia Golisch of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Winnifred C. Bruden and Gloria Newman both of Golden Valley, Minn; many nieces and nephews...
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Philip in 1988.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran church with Pastor Kent L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
