Dies This Morning
Mrs. Verna Harris, 67. the wife of Elijah C. Harris of Means Avenue, died this morning at 2:30 at Jennie Stuart Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Harris had been ill for several days with a heart condition.
The family returned to this city in 1949 from Huron, S.D. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Methodist Church and took an active part in church affairs.
The other survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Mrs. James L. Robertson of
Leroy, Ill., and two grandchildren.
The funeral services are tentatively arranged for Monday morning at 10 0'clock at the Fuqua Funeral Home. The burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
