Mrs. Margaret McCloskey Drass, wife of Francis Drass who is well known in this city, died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at her home, 411 Coleman avenue, Johnstown after several months' illness.
She was born in Gallitzin, August 24, 1878, the daughter of James and Mary (Murphy) McCloskey.
Members of the family include her husband, three sons, Robert J. Drass, Altoona; Donald Drass, Johnstown, and Fallon Drass of Pittsburg; one daughter Mrs. Virginia Barnitz of Johnstown; three brothers and one sister, Lewis McCloskey, Altoona; John McCloskey, Loretto and Robert and Mary McCloskey of Gallitzin; two half-brothers Thomas and Faber McCloskey of Gallitzin; three half-sisters, Mrs. Rose McGleal of Altoona, Mrs. Kathleen Kennedy of Altoona and Miss Helen McCloskey of Gallitzin, two grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Drass was a member of the Rosary and Altar Societies of the St. Patrick's Catholic church, Johnstown.
Friends are being received at the home. Services will be held in Johnstown with interment at Cresson.
