Grace Cooper

FALLS CREEK -- Grace C. Cooper, 72, formerly of Falls Creek, R.D. 1, died Sunday at 6:20 a.m. in Jefferson Manor, Brookville.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Eldon V. Mohney Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Henry officiating. Interment follows in Beechwoods Cemetery.

Friends are being received at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Washington Twp. June 6, 1901, daughter of Charles E. and Nancy Crawford Calhoun. She was married to Alton B. Cooper. He preceded her in death in 1949.

The deceased had been a guest at Jefferson Manor for nine years and was a member of Beechwoods Presbyterian Church. She was also matron of the Presbyterian Home (Manor) in Newville, Pa. for 11 years.

Surviving are three sons, E. Blake, and William, both of Falls Creek R.D. 1; S.F.C. Donald Cooper, Okinawa; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Susie Groves and Mrs. Hugh (Kathryn) Daugherty, Falls Creek, R.D. 1.
