Mrs. Hazel M. Cox, 77, died this morning at the Atchison hospital where she had been a patient since April 24. She resided at Massasoit Hall.
Her husband, the late Albert C. Cox, a retired Navy career man, died in 1962. She was a member of United Methodist church. Leo Durkin, Atchison, is among surviving nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sawin-Dyer chapel, the Rev. Walter Brant officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the National Cemetery at Fort Leavenworth.
The casket will be in state at the funeral home until the hour of service.
