Age 85 years, husband of Sonia (Kourakine-Reitz) Nichols, daughter of Princess Natasha Kourakine-Ouroussow who is 100 years old residing in Monte Carlo, died Sunday evening August 6, 2006 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Father of Lloyd Nichols II and his wife Karen of Fort Meyer, FL; Anne Kourakine Morin of Lausanne, Switzerland; Natasha Lalonde and Patricia Hart Lambe, both of Paris, France; and grandfather of 6. He was also the father of the late Elizabeth "Cookie" Nichols and brother of the late Richard and Frank Nichols. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, Beverly Farms on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family has requested no visiting hours. Burial will be held privately at the request of the family.
