Goldie Hoover Colborn, 89, Idaho Falls, died May 13, 2004, at her home. She was born May 24, 1914 to Clarence and Kathryn Hoover. She gew up in the area and attended Riverside Elementary. On August 15, 1929, she married Kenneth B. Colborn in Idaho Falls. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She loved her flowers and garden, was an avid crocheter and made afghans for all her children and grandchildren. She played cards weekly with her family for more than 30 years. She is survived by her children, Evelyn (Fred) Campagna of Idaho Falls, Von (Paula) Colborn of Sandy and Stan (Betty) Colborn of Rexburg; a sister, Bertha Belville, near Spokane, Washington; 17 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Juanita Colborn-Storm-Painter and Janet Colborn Ramey; a son, Kenneth Colborn, Jr.; a grandson, Brent Colborn. Services were conducted at the Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Young.
