Mrs. Amanda Bigley, 83, died at 6:43 am Thursday in the Oil City Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Venus on December 21, 1872, she was the daughter of William and Susan Confer.
For many years she had lived with her son, James, of Bradford. For the past year she had been at the family homestead in Venus with her son, A. M. Bigley.
Surviving are four sons, A. M. Bigley of Venus and Clem, James and Thomas of Bradford; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Kline of Venus, Mrs. Twila Ford and Mrs. Grace Beck of Bradford; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Glass and Mrs. Emma Blauser of Venus; one brother, Charles Confer of Bradford; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Faller Funeral Home
