Born January 19, 1916 to Peter Cornia and Olivette Buttle Putnam. Married Roy Hobbs Aug. 1936. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.Organist for many years in the Holladay 3rd Ward. Since the age of 12 she was an avid knitter and did beautiful crochet work. She loved needlepoint.
Survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Anderson; son, Max L. Hobbs; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters; two sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by parents, husband,
two brothers, one great-grandchild; and one great great-grandchild.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Holladay 3rd Ward, 4560 South Holladay Blvd. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive and one hour prior at the church. Funeral directors, Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary. Interment at Holladay Cemetery, 4900 S. Memory Lane (1990 East).
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to SL Regional Medical Center - in care of Women's Breast Cancer.
