Mrs. Louisa John, llong time resident of the Cantril and Milton communities, died Sunday in Des Moines. She and her husband were the stewards of the Van Buren county home about 60 years ago. She lived on a farm northeast of Cantril more than 30 years and in Milton for 25 years. She had been blind for five years and fractured a hip in a fall last July. Two sons, Frank W. John, Des Moines and Chauncey C. John of Kansas City survive. The funeral was held at Milton Tuesday with burial in Milton Sunnyside cemetery.
