TALLENT, RUBY LEE - age 91 of Maryville, passed away early Saturday morning June 5th, 2004.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, and was a wonderful blessing to her family and anyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Ramona Finger Lee; her husband, Homer Charles Tallent; two children, John H. Tallent and Maxine Tallent Keeble; brother, Burl Lee; sisters, Ruth, Naomi, and Pearl.
She leaves behind the family she adored; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Tallent Hafley and Don Hafley, Norma Tallent Carrigan and Eddie Carrigan; as well as her grandchildren, Robin Hafley Farmer, Scott Hafley, Phillip Carrigan, Beth Keeble French, Kenny and Chuck Keeble; her great grandchildren, Tanner French, Taylor Farmer, Noah and Evan Carrigan and Heather Keeble Goins; one great great granddaughter, Keliey Goins; brother, Carl Lee; sister, Virginia Thompson; many nieces and nephews.
She was a proud member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be 7:30 pm Monday at McCammon-Ammons- Click Chapel with Rev. Arkie Baker officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Tuesday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:30 pm Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
