George Henry Thurston was originally buried at So. Boston Burial Ground in 1831. He was re-interred to 1232 Geranium Path, at Mount Auburn Cemetery, with his sister Ellen Frances Thurston, on 21 Oct 1853. There are no Thurston headstones. There is a "C. Thurston" staircase at the adjoining plot where his parents are buried.
