Obituary - William Anderson died at his home, 85 Garfield Avenue, last Friday at the age of 61 years. Mr. Anderson, who formerly made his home in Great Neck, had been employed all his life as a landscape architect on the big estates belonging to the Sinclairs, the DuPonts, the Mackays and to Governor Lehman.
Mr. Anderson had not been able to work since last June and had made his home here. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Adelia Stein Anderson, a daughter, Mrs. Mary I. Stein, of West Sayville, a son, William James Anderson, of New York, and a daughter Miss Lenore A. Anderson of Sayville; a brother, George B. Anderson, of Vermont, and a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Poole, of Massachusetts.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 on Monday afternoon at the Raynor Memorial Chapel and were conducted by the Rev. Joseph H. Bond. Interment was in the Union Cemetery.
