Mrs Nora Deane Roberts, 64, wife of former Governor Albert H Roberts, died at her home in Nashville Saturday at 2:45 p.m. following several weeks' sickness. The direct cause of death was a stroke of paralysis.
The deceased is a cousin of J S Bowden, who attended the funeral and interment at Livingston Monday.
The deceased was for many years a teacher in different colleges. She was a member of the M E Church South and was held in the highest esteem, not only for her church work, but for her fine Christian character.
Ex-Governor Roberts was for many years Chancellor of this division.
