Minnie Irene Smith Henson, age 89, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 8:57 p.m., Saturday March 31, 2012 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris, Illinois. Minnie was owner and operator of the Kurly Q for many years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Paris. She loved to play Bridge and Duplicate Bridge.

Minnie was born April 3, 1922 in Marion, Indiana to the late William Henry and Clara McCormick Smith.

On October 5, 1974, Minnie married Richard Henson, and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Adonna Magers Bennett of Paris, Illinois, Leonard (Susie) Magers of Naples, Florida, William (Mary Ann) Magers of Paris, Illinois, a sister, Wilma Bradley of Marion, Indiana, grandchildren Brian (Jenny) Magers, Kevin (Brianne) Magers, Joshua Watson, Cameron Watson, Suzannah Irene (Michael) Brouwer, Todd Magers, Douglas (Colleen) Magers, Kit (Andy) Kirby, Cara (Jeff) Clapper, Coady (Bryce) Rapp, Luke Magers, Julia Magers, and great-grandchildren Johnna Jo Watson, Kathan Watson, Ethan Watson, Madelyn Brouwer, Matthew Brouwer, Phoebe Magers, Greyson Magers, Cade Adam Magers, Cate Kirby, Claire Kirby, Drew Kirby, Callum Clapper, Campbell Clapper, and Carson Clapper.

She was preceded in death by one son, Russell C. Magers, seven sisters, five brothers, and one grandchild, Adam Joseph Magers.

Visitation for Minnie will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 2, 2012 at Stewart & Carroll Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Stewart & Carroll Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Cemetery.
