An article in a book for the "100th Anniversary for Otis, KS" is an article submitted by Lola Brack, it reads:
"Aaron Brack, son of H. W. and Elizabeth Brack, was born on a farm northwest of Otis and lived in the Otis community his entire live.
Lola Chambers Brack moved to Otis in 1916 with her mother, Pearl and stepfather, Gus Kotal (sic), brothers Raymon and Gus and sister Mildred, from Bison, KS where they managed a cafe for many years. The Kottals owned and operated the Kottal grocery and meat market in Otis.

Aaron and Lola were married in 1929. They lived in the Otis area and were engaged in farming for many years. They moved to Otis in 1948. A daughter, Marla, was born in 1937. She received her education in the Otis schools and graduated from high school in 1955. She married Darrel West in 1956. They live near Norcatur, KS. They have four children.
After Aaron's death in 1967, Lola who had been a teacher in the area for many years became the first salaried employee of the Otis Community Library.
H.W. Brack was a charter member of the Otis Lutheran Church of which Lola is a member."

Otis - Aaron C. Brack, 61, died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday. Born April 25, 1906 in Otis, he was a life long resident of the community. He married Lola Chambers October 20, 1929 at Oits. He was a farmer.
He was a member of Otis Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Darel West, Norcatur; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Brack; one brother, Andrew; six sisters, Mrs. Olga Bloedorn and Mrs. Agnes Johnson, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Esther Scheck, Great Bend; Mrs. Viola Forster, Genoa, Ill., Mrs. Dorothy Frisch, Merrill, Wis., and Mrs. Angeline Miro, Chicago, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Theo Judt officiating. Burial will be in La Crosse City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hoover Funeral Home until 10 o'clock tonight.
