MENDON, Ill. -- Erma M. Corrigan, 96, of Mendon, died Saturday (March 31, 2012) in the North Adams Home in Mendon.
Erma was born March 2, 1916, in Clayton Township to the late Russell and Clara Cutforth Maynard. She married William E. Corrigan on Sept. 2, 1934. He died Aug. 25, 1975.
She was a member of Loraine Christian Church. She loved playing cards, doing crafts, puzzles, music, crocheting, knitting, fishing, traveling and gardening.
Surviving are four children,; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Brackensick; one daughter-in-law, Connie "Constance" Corrigan; and three brothers, Verle, Harold and Shirley Maynard.
