He was born November 15, 1940 in Manhattan, NY, the son of the late Erwin and the late Rose Taub Brunn.
Dr. Brunn was currently Chief of Staff at the Bon Secours Community Hospital and also the Past Chief of Surgery from 1982-1988 and 2002-2007. He was a member of many organizations, including the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Medical Society of New York. He also was a member of the Orange County Medical Society where he held multiple offices, currently being immediate Past President.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and uncle. Spending time traveling with his family is what he appreciated most in life.
Survivors include his loving wife, Melody Brunn, at home; two beloved sons, Nicholas Bent and Elijah Brunn, at home; sister, Estelle Sturniolo and her husband, Jay, of New City, NY; mother-in-law, Henrietta Ivan, of Liberty; sisters-in-law, Patti Kaus of Liberty and Kathy Ivan of Westtown; brother-in-law, Eric Ivan, of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 East Main St., Port Jervis today, Tuesday, April 27, from 1-4 and 6-8pm and Wednesday, April 28, from 4-6pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 28, at 6pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be held at H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
