Larry David Everett 62, of Pikeville, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home.

He was a longtime resident of Pikeville for 62.5 years and a member of the New Harmony Church of Christ in Pikeville. He was a strength coach at Rhea County High School. He worked for 32 years with Norfolk-Southern Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Susie (Hancock) Everett; daughter, Kathryn Belle Everett; four sisters, Lila Belle Everett, Geraldine Everett, Maxine Allen and Patricia Diane Everett.

He is survived by, wife Reba Everett; sons, Luke Everett of Pikeville and Patrick Everett of Dayton; daughters Danielle Everett and Carrissa Everett both of Dayton; eight sisters, Mary McDowell, Shirley Evitt, Charlotte Burgess, Jackie Morris, Martha McKechnie, Linda Smith, Brenda Powell and Lydia Griffin; four brothers, Billy Everett, Bobby Everett, Lonnie Everett, Gary Everett; two grandchildren, Morgan Shea Price and Skyler Everett; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held November 14 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Purser officiating. Burial was in Rigsby Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Coulter Garrison Funeral Home of Dayton.
