Louise Alcorn Edlin, 86, died Jan 18, 2006, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center Heart Institute, Fort Pierce.

She was born in Mount Washington, Kentucky, and lived in Vero Beach for five years She owned Edlin Construction Company, in Louisville, Kentucky, and 14K Gold Store Okeechobee with her husband Milburn Edlin. She was a member of the Vero Christian Church and the Vero Beach Museum.

Survivors include daughters, Anita Carol Edlin, of Vero Beach, Patsy Louise Wheeler, and Paula Cay Wooldridge, both of Louisville, and Cleta Gail Hunt, of Kokomo, Indiana, her son, Jerry Milburn Edlin Sr, of Louisville; sisters, Mary Reinle, of Louisville, Lorine Hilton, of Oklahoma, and Geneva Crady, of St. Petersburg; brothers, William Richard Alcorn Jr, of Louisville, and James Alcorn, of Mount Washington; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services were held on January 23 at the Fern Creek Funeral Home Louisville, with burial in Edlin Cemetery, Larue County, Kentucky
