Mr.Christian,aged 63,died suddenly from a heart attack at his home, 301 N.Foreman. Burial was on May 19,1949.
He was suvived by his widow, Cornelia Christian; two daughters Jane & Mary Ona both of the home; one son Ernest,415 S. Gunter St., Vinita; one brother, W.P.Christian of Joplin; and two sisters, Mrs.E.H.Bradley, Napa, Calif.; and Mrs.Walter Younger, Loopoe, Calif..
One son, Cpl.Albert Rice Christian was killed in Italy Nov.3,1943, as a member of the 45th Division, 179th Infantry.
Luginbuel Brothers Funeral Home in charge of services.
