John Jacob Riddle, 81-year-old resident of Ironton, Ohio, formerly of Charleston, died today in C. & O. Hospital in Huntington.
A retired C & O Railway yard conductor, he was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ironton.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Dudley L. Simms and Mrs. H. Kenneth Andrews of Charleston and Mrs. James M. Butner of Parkersburg; sister, Mrs. Mattie Fleming of Marmet; brothers, Frank and Bernard of Charleston, Romer of Roanoke, Va., Ernest of Edwardsville, Ill., Walter of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The body is at Simpson-Chandler Funeral Home.
