Mrs. Farmer was born on Thursday, October 4, 1940, to Mrs. Flossie Layne Hall and the late Elmer Kelems. She was born in Caraway, Ark., and had lived in Trumann since 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Apt Community Church in Jonesboro, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. "Jim" Farmer, two sons, Terry Lloyd Farmer and Michael Anthony Gibson, two brothers and her father.
Survivors include two daughters, LuVonda Farmer of Heber Springs and Deborah Goodman of Trumann; one son, Teddy Farmer of Rose Bud; her mother, Flossie Hall of Caraway; one sister, Melvina Ritchison of Fort Smith; three brothers, Ricky Kelems and Roy Kelems both of Caraway and Robert Hall of Monette; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children.
Funeral services were at the Apt Community Church in Jonesboro, Ark. Burial was in the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumnn.
