Beloved daughter of Robert and Maude (Smith) Cruise
NOTE:
*Birth record, Border crossing from Canada to Michigan record, and arrival record in Port of Detroit in familysearch.org all give her name as Victoria Gertrude Cruise.
*US. Census records (in familysearch.org and City of Saginaw cemetery search list her as Gertrude V. Newberry.
It's possible she was named Victoria Gertrude at birth in Canada and changed her name to Gertrude Victoria when she came to live in the US. (just a thought)
She is buried with husband, Ernest Newberry and parents Robert and Maude Cruise in Forest Lawn cemetery family lot.
There is no headstone/marker for either Gertrude or her husband, Ernest Newberry.
They are buried where the yellow flowers are placed in the photo.
