Vada F. Unger, 91, of Orrstown, died at 6:25 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Sept. 24, 1913, in Letterkenny Township, Mrs. Unger was a daughter of the late Samuel McCune and Jennie Blanche Watson Finkenbinder.

Mrs. Unger was the owner of Unger Distributors, Orrstown, retiring in 1998. Earlier in her life she worked at the Shirtcraft Company and L'agilon, both formerly of Shippensburg.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orrstown, and its Honest Seekers Sunday School class.

She was the widow of Alvin D. Unger, who died Jan. 2, 1976.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley A. St. Clair and Frances L. (Mrs. R. Lee) Wadel, both of Chambersburg; one daughter-in-law, Patty B. Unger, Chambersburg; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Alvin E. "Buck" Unger, who died May 17, 2002, three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orrstown. The Rev. Bonnie B. Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
