ROCK FALLS - Charles H. Beien, 84, 1207 10th Ave., postmaster for 18 years prior to his retirement in 1958, died Wednesday in Community General Hospital after an extended illness.

Survivors include his widow, Grace; a son, Vincent, Sterling; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. today in the Grennan Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
