PROPHETSTOWN - Frank Beien, 70, owner and operator of the Beien Coffee Shop here, died Thursday morning in his home.
Survivors include his widow Margaret; a son, Frank Jr., Clinton, Iowa; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Modler, Walcott, Iowa, Mrs. James Smith, Sterling, and Mrs. Jim Miller, Randall, Wash.; a brother, Charles, Rock Falls; and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Gardner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sterling. Friends may call this afternoon and evening in the chapel.
