Lorenza (Lois) Estrada, 88 of Baytown, TX, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 12, 2012. Lois was born December 22, 1923 in Baytown, TX to Vicente and Gertrudes C. Nieto.
She was devoted to family, church and friends. She was a member of the DeZavala Elementary PTA, the Guadalupanas Altar Society serving as president for 2 terms and the Eastern Deanery serving as president for 1 term.
Lois worked with the public as a beautician for John’s Beauty Salon and always took an active part in the election process serving as election supervisor and clerk for several years.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years Consepsion Estrada, sister Amalia Hernandez, brothers; Vicente Nieto, Rodolfo Nieto, Joe Nieto, and Jesus Nieto.
She is survived by her children; daughter Connie Martin, sons John Estrada and wife Esther, Robert Estrada, brother, Henry Nieto and wife Mary, sisters; Etelvina Marron, Elvira Barajas and husband Raymond, Mary Nieto, Lydia Castillo, and sister-in-law Stella Nieto. Grandchildren; Jason Estrada and wife Tracie, Nickolas Estrada and wife Laura, Olivia Garza and husband Shaun. Great-grandchildren; Reagan, Jordan, Grace, Anthonee, Sofia, Kaden, and Kamryn.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2012, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, April 16, 2012, at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
