He was the son of the late Perry Kalmer "Pete" and Doris Jean Curry McClister of Adair county.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Fudge McClister of Columbia, KY; one daughter, Melena Lacy and her husband Jason of Columbia, KY; one sister, Brenda Carpenter of Scottsburg, IN; two grandchildren Katlyn and Jakeb Lacy; father-in-law, Marion Short Fudge of Sparksville and a host of other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Lanny McClister and Lynn McClister.
Larry attended the Harrods Fork Baptist Church, had worked at NAPA Auto Parts, Nissley Equipment and the Oshgosh B'Gosh Factory.
Services were held Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Stoney McKinney and Bro. Jason Lacy officiating.
Interment in McClister Cemetery at Fairplay.
Pallbearers were Don Neat, John Miller, Paul Miller, Jack Collins, Daniel Nissley, and Ben Wilson.
Honorary Pallbearers were J.C. Mings, Steve McKinney, Tony Loy, Billy Morrison, Paul Reynolds, Louie Loy, and Pat Elmore.
