FULTON, Oct. 20.— Norman Battles, 69, former resident of Fulton, died Wednesday in Crouse-Irving hospital, Syracuse, after a long illness. Mr. Battles lived at 510 Ontario street, Fulton, before moving to Syracuse two years ago to live
with a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Joncas. He was a carpenter.
Surviving besides his daughter are two brothers, Frank Battles of Fulton and William Battles of New
Haven; a grandson, Victor Joncas of Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews in Fulton. The body was
taken to the home of Charles Wilbur, 7 North Sixth street, brotherin-law of Mr. Battles. Funeral
services will be held at this address Saturday at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Aaron B. Corbin, pastor of First
Methodist Episocpal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Adnah cemetery
