Son of, Oscar Peabody Flanders and Lucy McClain Flanders, was born in Gallatin Co. Illinois. Frank and his Brother, Augustus "Gus" Flanders lost thier Mother, Lucy when they were very young and were raised by their Step-Mother, Hester Blair Flanders.
Frank married Oline Lien, September 11, 1907 in Hennepin Co. Minnesota. They had two children, Velma born and died an infant and Opal Audrey
