Funeral services were held Sunday, November 1, 1981, for Rev. Bob J. Teddlie, 50 of Fort Worth, Texas, at Handley Baptist Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth. He died in an Arlington, Texas hospital after a lengthy illness.
Reverend Teddlie was senior minister at Handley Baptist Church in Fort Worth and would have celebrated his third anniversary at the church on November 1. He was a graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he was a member of the Board of Trustees of Howard Payne University, and he was on the active board of the Baptist General Convention.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Jo; a daughter, Nancy Carol; a son, Brian; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ardian L. Teddlie. His paternal grandmother is Mrs. Carrie Teddlie of Montgomery, La. Rev. Teddlie is also a nephew of Roy F. Miller of Winnfield.
