CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. - James A. Boyd, 78 years old, one of Cambridge City's most widely known and prominent citizens and bankers, died at his home here at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, after an illness of several months. Mr. Boyd was said to be one of the wealthiest citizens of Wayne county, being half owner and vice-president of the Wayne Trust company; president, and principal owner of the Citizens' Telephone company, and owner of several farms and city properties. He is survived by his widow, two sons. John and Byron, and one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Bertsch, all of this city. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is known that the services will be private. Friends will be asked to omit flowers.
