Arnold Lendel Branum, 80, of New Hope, died Sunday at his residence. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ with Stan Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Bush Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Loma Branum; a son, James Eugene Branum of Guntersville; a daughter, Betty Sue Shinsato of Texas; two brothers, Walter Branum of New Hope and Franklin Branum of Prattville; two sisters, Catherine Lassater of Athens and Ann Morton of California; two stepdaughters, five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
