Old Mr. Rouiller, about whose illness we wrote recently, has died. Mr. Rouiller lived for many years on a farm in East Gibson and for 25 years was the postmaster there. About 8 years ago he bought a farm and moved to our village where he and his family lived in retirement.

He is survived by his wife, by an elderly sister who lived with them, and by 10 grown children, all in good circumstances. The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. from the Catholic Church.

Per 1900 census the couple had 11 children, 10 surviving. In the 1870 census they had a son Edward, age 1. He was not in the 1880 census.
