Lois was the youngest of ten children born to George Emmitt and Bertha May (Finger) Rudisill. She married (1) Baxter Bryan Dellinger and they were the parents of three children: Ann Carol, Mary Ellen and David Baxter. She married (2) Lewis Guy Cornwell.

CHERRYVILLE - Mrs. Lois Rudisill Cornwell 70, of 1541 Forest Wehunt Road, died July 31, 1997 at her home.
She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 9, 1926, daughter of the late George and Bertha Finger Rudisill. She was a member of Bethphage Lutheran Church and was a retired clerk for A.S.C.S.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bethphage Lutheran Church with Rev. John Bell officiating. Burial will follow in North Brook Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Survivors are two daughters, Ann Hoover of Cherryville, Ellen Allen of Shelby; one brother, Hunter Rudisill of Lincolnton, NC; three sisters, Helen Hawn of Winston Salem, Irene Saunders of Lincolnton, Lib Beam of Cherryville; brother-in-law, Brad Bangle of Lincolnton; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harry Arthur, Jr., Bill Beam, Joe Rudisill, Dale Sain, Shawn Thomas and Jim Bangle.
