He was born in Harrisburg on May 20, 1958, to G.W. and Bobbie Sue Snell, AR.
He was a machine operator at Quebecor World for 16 years and attended Temple Baptist church. He loved NHRA racing, was a huge Raiders fan and was a member of the National Hot Rod Association.
He leaves behind his wife, Carol Snell of the home; his sons, Daniel Lee Snell of Sacramento, Calif., and Travis Loyd Snell of the home; daughters, Keri Snell of the home and Krissy Wirtz of El Paso, Texas; his mother, Bobbie Snell of Jonesboro; brothers, Len Snell of Jonesboro and Lesley Snell of Mountain Home; his father in law, Douglas R. Samson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel. Burial was at Pine Hill Cemetery.
