CHARLESTOWN - Pettit, Wilma Catherine (Daniel), went to be with her loving Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was born on September 23, 1925 in Scottsburg, IN to the late Ezra and Luella C. (Baldwin) Daniel.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Hank" Pettit.
She is survived by her children, Neil Pettit (Sherry), Linda Graham (Mike); siblings, Ezra Daniel (Virginia), Dave Daniel (Dana), Joyce Jones (Don), Judy McClung; grandchildren, Justin Petitt, Jim Keibler, Cheryl K. Pitcher (Jeff), Debbie K. Scott (Randy); great-grandchildren, Isaac and Lydia Pitcher, Kassidey Keibler, Brittney and Hayley Page, Ethan and Kira Pettit, Matt, Brian, and Seth Scott.
Her visitation will be 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
