Louise M. Niswender, 100, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Traditions of Chillicothe following a brief illness. She was born April 25, 1911, in Nellie, Ohio, to the late George M. and Pauline L. Shaffer McNabb. On August 5, 1944, she married Rev. Gerald H. Niswender who died July 4, 2008.
Surviving are her son, Philip S. Niswender, of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Kimberly Niswender, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Donna Sheppard, of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Leeland Brown and Edith and Robert Lawrence; an infant son; and an infant brother.
She was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. She retired as a School Teacher to become a full time Pastor's wife.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
