CHARLES F. DURHAM
Charles Franklin Durham, 45, 1001 Noccalula Road, died unexpectedly at 9 a.m. yesterday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bellevue Methodist Church, the Revs. C.L. Cash and Don Barfield officiating.
Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler directing.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vera Young Durham; two daughters, Mrs. Pasty Walters and Miss Frankie Sue Durham, Gadsden; a son, Charles F. Durham, Jr., Gadsden; his mother, Mrs. W.Y. Durham; a brother, H.H. Durham; a sister, Mrs. Nell Heaton, and a grandchild, all of Gadsden.
Mr. Durham was a native of Rockmart, Ga., a resident of Gadsden 42 years and an engineer with Republic Steel Corp. for 28 years. He was a member of Bellevue Methodist Church and of Masonic Lodge 550 F&AM.
Active pallbearers will be Carl Lipscomb, Clarence Kelly, James Bullard, J.B. Couch, Charles Brown, Carl Elliott, Melvin Henry and Walter Daughdrill.
The body will remain at the home until one hour prior to the services, at which time it will be taken to the church.
