Mrs. Mandy Abbott Dies
Mrs. Mandy Abbott passed away at her home on Crescent Bend today at 12:0 p. m., after a lingering illness of about a year. She was born March 14, 1842, and at the time of her death was 90 years, 6 months and 22 days old. Her husband, Blandy Abbott, died twelve years ago. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.

Mrs. Mandy Abbott
Mrs. Mandy Abbott was born March 14, 1842 in Caldwell county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Hatfield, and departed this life Oct. 5th, 1932 at 12:30 at her home on Crescent Bend, at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 21 days.
She was united in marriage with Blandy Abbott, July 19, 1863 to this union 10 children were born, 5 having preceded her in death. Those surviving are Mrs. Nellie True, John and Rosa Abbott and Ernest, all of Macon, and George of Wyoming. Also eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Abbott became a member of the Baptist church when she was 33 years old and had remained faithful to that trust throughout the years.
She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home on Crescent Bend by Rev. O. L. Angel. Interment in cemetery near Bloomington.

BLOOMINGTON
Mrs. Mandy Abbott, who passed away at her home in Macon, was well known here, as she lived near here most of her life, an was loved by all her friends. Her remains were laid lo rest in the Sleightom (sic) cemetery by the side of her husband, who passed on several years since. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved.
