EUPORA - Alvin Adams, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at the Beverly Health Care Nursing Home in Eupora. He was born June 18, 1918, in Choctaw County. He was a retired sawmiller and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church at Reform.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with Bro. James Sanders and Bro. James Young officiating. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery in Choctaw County.

Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Turner of Lake City, S.C.; three sons, Calvin Adams of West Point, and Mike Adams and Dennis Adams, both of Mathiston; one sister, Darlene O'Leary of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Charles Adams of Greenville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Daniel Easley, Allen Carmichael, Caine Adams, Josh Adams, Bryan Adams and Brent Adams.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jackie Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church c/o Ed Whitehurst, P.O. Box 313, Maben, MS 39750.
