Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Holmes Johnson, 82, of 256 East Drive, will be held at 10 a.m. today from the Rabenhorst parlors, the cortege proceeding to McComb, Miss., for services in the First Baptist church there at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson, born in Pike county, Miss., had been a resident of Baton Rouge for three years. She died at her home here last night.
She is survived by her husband; a son, E. E. Johnson of Columbia, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. G. T. Piggott of Tylertown, Miss. and Mrs. C. J. Moak of Baton Rouge; two brothers, H. B. and Marshall Holmes of McComb, Miss.; and two sisters, Mrs. N. Fortenberry of Tylertown and Mrs. Dudley Fortenberry of Goose Creek, Tex.
She and her husband resided with the Moaks.
