April V. Betty (Meckley) Kenee, 93, of The Woods at Cedar Run in Camp Hill, formerly of Clearwater, FL, and Harrisburg, passed away on April 4, 2012, at Masonic Village Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Norwood Kenee; her parents, Charles E. and Anna (Lehr) Meckley; and sister, Sara Katherine (Meckley) Zerbe.
Betty graduated from Enola High School in 1936 and from Central Pennsylvania Business School. She worked for 29 years in the office of Progressive Service Company in Harrisburg, PA.
She was a former member of the Colonial Park United Church of Christ in Harrisburg. She was also a member of Chi Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Past Worthy Matrons of Capital City Chapter #146 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving her are several nephews.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Burial will be at the Rolling Green Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
