Bessie L. Foster, 74, died Sunday, February 29, 2004, at North Monroe Hospital in Monroe, LA. Services are 1 1 a.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial at 2 p.m. in Beulah Baptist Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Foster was a resident of Florence for 28 years and a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and "old-time" music.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Herston David Easterling and Gaynell Easterling.

Survivors include: her son, Roger D. Richardson of Bossier City, LA; daughters, Jeannette Trichel and Alma Martin, both of Florence; brother, Garland Isaac Easterling; sisters, Ann Jones of Richland, Mattie Norman of Pelahatchie, Shirley Hodges of Richland and Dean Helms of Dlo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to give special acknowledgment to nieces, Tammy Burchfield, Gaylene Easterling and other nieces and nephews.
